Bylaws and Operating Guide of OOAE
The Bylaws of the OOAE Division have gone through extensive revisions after the merger of the OMAE Division with the OE Division in 1999. The Bylaws were revised in October of 2001 and again in June of 2006. They have been approved by the ASME. The downloadable file includes:

Operating and Technical Program Guidelines
According to Article VI - Amendments,
"The By-Laws will stand adopted but may be amended by a five-sevenths majority vote of the Executive Committee or by a two-thirds majority of the Division's primary members for the Division. The By-Laws should be reviewed every two years or more frequently as determined by the Executive Committee, particularly by the Second Vice-Chair."
