John V. Wehausen Symposium
on
Water Waves, Ship Waves and Marine Hydrodynamics
OMAE 2002
The
John V. Wehausen Symposium on Water Waves, Ship Waves and Marine Hydrodynamics
was held at
OMAE
2002 as part of the newly established Ocean
Engineering Symposium to honor the teachings and contributions of Prof. John
V. Wehausen of the University of California at Berkeley in water waves and
marine hydrodynamics.
In this symposium, original papers on the the
state of the art, science and technology of water waves, ship waves and marine
hydrodynamics describing new and recent contributions, and also contributions
that provide guidance for future directions for research and development in
water waves, ship waves and marine hydrodynamics were of interest.
