Pipeline and Riser Technology Symposium

Objectives
Authors and presenters are invited to participate in this event to expand international cooperation, understanding and promotion of efforts and disciplines in the area of Pipeline and Riser Technology. Dissemination of knowledge by presenting research results, new developments, and novel concepts in Pipeline and Riser Technology will serve as the foundation upon which the conference program of this area will be developed.

Description
Pipeline and Riser Technology (PRT) represents an important area for successful offshore oil & gas exploration and production. The PRT Symposium provides a forum for innovative techniques, industrial experiences and design recommendations focused on flowlines and risers applications. Subjects related to design, ultimate strength, fracture & fatigue, on-bottom behavior & pipe-soil interaction, installation and monitoring & repair are treated. Steel and flexible pipes will be considered, especially for deepwater applications. The Symposium promotes collaborative interaction between industry and academia on practical, theoretical, and experimental aspects of offshore pipeline and riser technology. It aims to provide an established forum where recent experiences, innovative ideas and techniques are presented and discussed.
